The team managing the agency is strong and is able to provide strategic quality training. The Director has International, Regional and National Experience in training. He has worked with the Government of Kenya for over 20 years. He worked as District Gender and Social Development Officer, Provincial Director for Gender and Social Development, UWEZO Fund Nyanza Regional Coordinatorand as one of the National Facilitator in trainings, workshops, seminars and provided inductions to newly recruited Government Officers on gender and gender mainstreaming
He has facilitated and represented Kenya in organized conferences on gender issues. He worked with the Ministry of Gender and Social Development and Ministry of Devolution and Planning. Holds a Master Degree in Sociology from Sofia University and has international training on micro credit and micro enterprises for rural women as well as on gender and health from Malaysia and India respectively. Trained by the Gorvernment on senior management and strategic leadership development program.
The Agency is committed to commonwealth treaties and gender mainstreaming is equally central to the Nation and all organizations have the responsibility to mainstream gender in their planning and operation.
